Actually, some of that guy's other projects (completely Javascript WikiWeb with instant response times) are pretty interesting to look at, I encourage you to saturate his bandwidth.
I picked up Greasemonkey today, about a month after it was recommended by
jzig, and I feel a bit foolish for delaying for so long. It was really because of Platypus that I picked it up, I've read a lot of good reviews of the extension and wanted to see what the fuss was about. You know those time you wish you could just get rid of that one table in a page, or felt the layout could use some reordering? Now it's possible, and it'll stay that way as long as the extension is enabled whenever you visit the page. It's so much fun to fix up problem pages now =)
Other than that, I've spent some time on OSMod today. You can now pick up mod items, I threw a concept speed mod together. It speeds you up when you have it, and you stay at normal speed when you don't. The whole mod interface is pretty nice to deal with as well, I've made it easy for mods to only update their variables or do checks for entities or whatever whenever they need to. If they update every 2 seconds, no sweat, they'll still keep drawing everything every frame. Think Natural Selection motion tracker. Ah, I love coding so much.
Oh look, it's 1:48 am, where does the time go? I seem incapable of going to bed before 2:30 am these days, and I pulled a 3:30-7:00 a few days ago somehow. I can't understand it! ^_^
EDIT - 2:10 am: These are some super-cool DHTML samples that make me want to do web design again
