( Is this a good or bad thing? )You know those days when you go to school expecting the academic equivalent of a nuclear strike? Yeah, I had one of those. You know those days when it turns out it was only a fire drill and everything's ok? Yeah, I had one of those.
I fell asleep at the keyboard last night around 10:30 in the middle of doing research for my first IB French oral (4-5 minutes of spontaneous conversation on a topic). That means I didn't finish the other french homework, the chemistry electronegativity questions, study for the chemistry quiz (test on friday), or do any of the more long range things I was supposed to either! I woke up at 2am, blearily copied and printed out some more french research, tried in vain to do the french work and the chemistry questions and went to bed. Today, I expected to completely blow the oral practice (lolz) but it turned out that my memory's actually pretty good at 2am! The french homework wasn't due today, the chemistry quiz was a cinch and the questions will be taken up tomorrow, and ballroom dancing at lunch didn't happen so I spent that time in the radio room chatting instead of doing said chem questions.
Ah, wonderful mistress life, how well you treat the unfortunate.
