Yeah, buzz midi's support sucks big time. When I hooked it up there was a tremendous lag (like almost half a second), so I turned off the buzz sound and just did the riff on keyboard, and went to fix everything later on...

Although ... thinking riffs up on keyboard and programming them in buzz later works better than the frustrating MIDI stuff. Once you get used to the keyboard layout it isn't all that awkward anymore.
