i never typed up the list of 1920's slang i found in a desk at school once it turns out BUTT ME meant you wanted a cigarette

which leads me to have a good idea of how fag came to mean gay.

I hate the topic of "banned books" But for humour's sake, I read "6. Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson" in grade 6 or 7. The teacher actually assigned a group of us to read it. I don't remember there being anything wrong with it. Weird.

Also, "18. Heather Has Two Mommies by Leslea Newman" is a somewhat humours title for a book. I want to read it just to see how it goes.

LMAO. A bunch of those books are on the curriculum, and a bunch of the others I've had teachers read to the class over the years!

The skewl board is retarded (though I wouldn't have minded if 100 Years of Solitude had been banned from IB).
