I just got back from a performance of The Music Man which was really good, except for two things:
1) I didn't like the way the "evil" salesman's character was portrayed, not to mention he was impossible to understand between his constant yelling and spitting
2) Everybody was putting on an American accent, except they ranged from deep south to uh, everywhere else I guess. Everywhere except Iowa, of course, how could anyone actually try to do an accent of the region that the play is set in?
Still, I knew one of the guys in the barbershop quartet so it was all good.
